Late Night ShenaniGang · LNSG
A creator group built to build together.
Late Night ShenaniGang "LNSG" is a creator group, gaming community, and growing independent entertainment network built around one pretty simple idea: creators are better when they can build together without having to give up what makes them their own thing.
At its core, LNSG is a group of creators, friends, gamers, entertainers, and professional bad influences who spend an unreasonable amount of time turning late nights into streams, videos, games, podcasts, community events, and whatever other questionable idea sounded good at the time.
LNSG.top is the shared public home for that work. It brings together creator discovery, livestreams, schedules, announcements, merchandise, services, games, podcasts, software, and community systems so the group can build shared infrastructure without turning every participating creator into the same brand with a different face attached.
Creators stay creators
Shared home. Individual identity.
LNSG was never meant to be a group where everybody has to look, sound, stream, or create the same way. Every creator has their own identity, audience, style, projects, and sense of humor. The goal is to give those creators a shared home and shared infrastructure while still letting them be themselves.
That philosophy carries through everything we build.
The ecosystem
One home for the chaos.
LNSG.top brings together creator profiles and destinations, livestream schedules, community announcements, official merchandise collections, services, browser games, and podcast listening links. Creator-specific and moderation tools have their own account and permission requirements.
That includes the LNSG 24/7 project, designed to keep community-created entertainment running beyond normal livestream hours; the Shenaniverse, our game project and increasingly ridiculous fictional universe; the LNSG Podcast Stage; creator tools such as the Auto Editor; creator storefronts and merchandise; and the infrastructure that connects LNSG creators, viewers, communities, and projects together.
How things happen around here
“Wouldn’t it be cool if…”
A lot of what we build starts because somebody says, “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” and nobody in the room has the good sense to stop there.
Sometimes that becomes a stream idea.
Sometimes it becomes merchandise.
Sometimes it becomes an entire website, game, automation system, moderation platform, or piece of software that probably could have been solved with considerably less effort.
That is fairly representative of LNSG.
For creators
A creator group should actually do something for its creators.
We also believe a creator group should actually do something for its creators.
Creators can use the shared directory, public schedules, community connections, cross-promotion, creator-specific merchandise collections, and collaborative projects to reach viewers beyond their own channel pages. Other tools, including creator publishing and analytics features, depend on the creator's account and configured integrations; they are not automatic benefits of joining.
At the same time, LNSG is not designed around stripping creators of ownership or turning everybody into interchangeable faces underneath one brand. Creator projects remain creator projects. LNSG exists to make those projects stronger, easier to discover, and easier to build around.
For the community
Community, not a marketing funnel.
The same idea applies to the community.
We want LNSG to feel less like somebody's marketing funnel and more like the internet communities a lot of us originally fell in love with: people hanging out, playing games, laughing at stupid things, building inside jokes, helping each other, arguing about nonsense, creating things together, and occasionally producing something surprisingly awesome by accident.
Gaming is a major part of that, but LNSG isn't limited to one game, platform, genre, or type of content. Streams, videos, podcasts, games, technology, creative projects, community events, merchandise, and whatever comes next can all live under the same roof.
Built independently
We want room to experiment.
We are also building LNSG independently.
The website, creator infrastructure, software, games, tools, branding, stores, and systems behind the group are being developed specifically for this community rather than simply stitching together a pile of generic creator-network services. Some pieces use outside platforms where they make sense, but the long-term goal is for LNSG to own and control as much of its own ecosystem as reasonably possible.
That gives us room to experiment.
Some projects begin because there is a specific problem to solve. Others begin because somebody says, “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” and another person is reckless enough to build it. Both kinds of projects belong here. The serious infrastructure and the ridiculous experiments are part of the same ecosystem, and the ability to move between them without waiting for an outside platform to decide the idea fits its roadmap is one of the reasons LNSG is being built independently.
It means we can build features because our creators actually want them instead of because they happen to fit somebody else's business model. It means a dumb joke can become a real feature. It means a creator can suggest something at 2:00 in the morning and, occasionally to everyone's detriment, wake up to discover that somebody actually built it.
Still growing
This is the foundation, not the finish line.
Most importantly, LNSG is still growing.
The creators, streams, schedules, games, podcast, merchandise, services, and community spaces are here to explore today. As LNSG grows, those public destinations give independent creators more ways to collaborate and audiences more places to discover the people and projects they enjoy.
We're serious about building it.
We are considerably less serious about ourselves.
Welcome to the Late Night ShenaniGang.
